TCM PRACTITIONER

When the body no longer comes to rest.

Sleep, pain, exhaustion, digestion. Traditional Chinese Medicine asks where the pattern comes from, instead of treating each symptom on its own.

What brings people here

When the body falls out of balance.

Sleep, digestion, cycle, energy, tension. In TCM these are not separate problems but signals that belong together. Below is what people most often come to the practice with.

Sleep, stress and exhaustion

  • Trouble falling or staying asleep
  • Waking at the same hour every night
  • Persistent tiredness despite enough sleep
  • Inner restlessness, tension, burnout

Pain and tension

  • Recurring neck, shoulder and back pain
  • Headaches and migraine
  • Joint complaints
  • Tension that keeps coming back

Digestion, cycle and hormones

  • Bloating, irregular digestion
  • Painful or irregular periods
  • Complaints around the menopause
  • Fertility support alongside medical care

Do not see your complaint here? Get in touch anyway — in a short first call we can work out whether treatment makes sense for you.

When the water grows still,it reflects the sky.

Treatment is not about getting rid of individual symptoms. It is about recognising again where the body has fallen out of rhythm.

Methods

Treatment methods.

Used on their own or in combination, depending on what the case history and the examination show.

  • Fine needle stimulation, placed individually and matched to your symptoms. It can encourage the flow of energy and release inner tension. Most people find the treatment itself surprisingly restful.

About

A practitioner who listens.

I am a practitioner focused on Traditional Chinese Medicine. In my work I take the time to look closely. At the centre is the person, with their history, their everyday life and how they are feeling right now.

I trained in naturopathy and spent four years studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine and pulse and tongue diagnosis.

Before opening this practice I worked for several years in an interdisciplinary clinic, alongside physiotherapists and doctors. That shaped how I work today: I take conventional findings seriously and see TCM as something that sits beside them, not against them.

Approach

For me, treating means looking closely first. Which patterns show up, what does daily life bring with it, where is the body seeking balance. Out of those observations grows an approach that fits, unhurried by design.

How it works

From first message to treatment.

01

Enquiry

You send a message or ask for an appointment. If anything is unclear beforehand, we sort it out on the phone.

02

First consultation

Around 75 minutes. We go through your complaints, your daily life and your medical history, without rushing.

03

Assessment

I interpret those observations from a TCM perspective and tell you honestly what treatment can and cannot do here.

04

Treatment

The methods are combined to suit your situation, and adjusted as things change.

Time to talk

The first appointment is deliberately long. Most of what matters comes up in conversation, not on the treatment couch.

No treatment by template

Methods are chosen for what actually shows up, not from a fixed protocol.

Your own pace

Few appointments a day, so there is room for the treatment and for the quiet afterwards.

In their words

What people say afterwards.

I came in with sleep problems I had lived with for two years. What struck me first was how much time there was to actually talk. After four sessions I was sleeping through the night again.
R., 41
No promises, no pressure. I was told honestly what could realistically be achieved and what could not. That is rarer than it should be.
M., 58
My migraines have not disappeared, but they have become noticeably less frequent. And I finally understand what tends to set them off.
S., 34

Individual experiences. They do not constitute a promise of any particular outcome.
